Born in 1959 in Lisbon, where he lives and works. Attended St. Martin's School Art & Design, London, in 1978. Between 1979 and 1983 he studied at London University College, Slade School of Fine Art Experimental Sculpture Course, in London. He received a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. He organized the Jewelry Design Summer Course at Ar.Co, in Lisbon, where he also taught. She was also a teacher at the Drawing Course at IADE, Institute of Visual Arts, Design and Marketing, in Lisbon and drawing at the Architecture Course at Universidade Lusíada, in Lisbon. You are represented in the collections of MoMA, Fundação de Serralves, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian and in private collections. Received the Lis 79 prize (Ex-aequo Prize), International Biennial of Modern Art (Secretariat of State for Culture, Lisbon, Portugal) and the Arte Jovem 92 prize (Ex-aequo Prize), Museu from Chaves, Portugal.
