Joana Pitta (1993) lives and works in Lisbon. He completed his degree in sculpture and his master's degree in multimedia (Audiovisuals) at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Of the various exhibitions he held, the highlights are, “SO BE IT” solo exhibition at the Sintra Arts Museum, XXX BIENAL OF INTERNATIONAL ART OF CERVEIRA, 6th. Espinho International Art Biennial; 4 GAIA INTERNATIONAL ART BIENNIAL; XVI Edition of the Sintra D. Fernando II Painting and Sculpture Prize, Sintra; Fleeting film, Galeria António Prates, Lisbon; Filmica Joana Pitta & Pat O’Neill, Monitor Lisbon Gallery, Lisbon; SINGULAR PACE, Zet Gallery, Braga. She was invited in 2020 to participate in the exhibition, Amália a contemporary look at Galeria António Prates, Lisbon.  

In 2021 he received an Honorable Mention, in the 6th. Espinho International Art Biennial with the piece “Cartography”, 2021; Honorable Mention, Galeria António Prates, Amália a contemporary look at the piece “Amália”, 2020; Honorable Mention in Painting, in the XV Edition of the Sintra D. Fernando II Painting and Sculpture Prize with the piece “Generic name of all land strips” 2019.
