Isabel Pyrrait

Born in 1948, in Lisbon. He took the Artistic Training course at the National Society of Fine Arts with professors Sá Nogueira, Fernando Conduto, Sena da Silva, Daciano Costa, Manuel Tainha, José Augusto França, Rui Mário Gonçalves and Ernesto de Sousa. Between 1969/1970 he worked at the Studio of Photographer Sérgio Guimarães and between 1970/1973, at the Studio Moura George Designers, one year of which he interned at the headquarters in London with professor Keneth Briggs. In 1974, with three other partners, she founded the advertising agency “Lápis Designers”, where she held the position of Creative Director. She was a founding member of the Portuguese Designers Association and a member of the Board of Directors. From 1987 to 1993 she worked as a creative consultant for the firm “Fonte, Comunicação e Imagem”. She was also a professor of Graphic Design at Ar.Co, from 1993 to 1996 she worked in Macau, mainly in the area of Design and Assembly of Exhibitions and Stands of various types. There attended the Engraving Course at the Macau School of Visual Arts. In 1997 he returned to Lisbon, dedicating himself mainly to music. design and assembly of exhibitions. The most recent exhibitions he held include: in 2006, “50 years of Portuguese Engraving a platform for the future”, at Edifício Chiado and Galeria Almedina, Lisbon and Estampa 06, in Madrid.
