Born in Cáceres, Spain, in 1955. From 1972, upon contact with the Artistic Association of Guipúzcoa, he began to dedicate himself intensely to several artistic activities. Between 1984 and 1985 he undertook a trip to Berlin. which was followed by others in Amsterdam, Prague, Budapest, Vienna and Munich, whose main aim was to enrich their artistic training. He was guest of honor at the Spanish Academy of Fine Arts, through the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1995/96 and is represented in numerous museums and collections. With a strong literary influence, both through the inclusion of poems or words in his works and through literary themes, Hilario Bravo's work often converges, between the simplification of shapes and elements inspired by nature.
