Born in Toledo in 1939. He completed his first painting studies at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Santa Isabel de Hungría in Sevilla, Spain. He later studied at the Escuela de Artes y oficios Artisticos in Toledo, the city where his family established residence in 1956. He went to Madrid in 1958 and dedicated himself to art. illustration in newspapers and magazines and begins studies in Information Sciences at the Escuela Oficial de Periodismo de Madrid. Participates in several group exhibitions in - Toledo and Madrid and obtains the 2nd degree; Prize for the art competition of the Sociedade Estilo of the capital Toeldana. In the following years, his professional activity was limited to journalism, in its dual graphic and literary aspects. From 1968 onwards, he found in the Tolmo Group, from Toledo, the incentive to live art every day, and participated in all the Group's exhibitions at the same time as holding individual exhibitions, attending for years the internal group debate around contemporary art. In 1974 he received the Quijote de Oro Alcalá of Henares.
