Born in Porto in 1944.

Exhibits individually since 1955 in Angola and Portugal and collectively since 1959 in Angola, Portugal and Czechoslovakia.

Throughout his career he has won numerous awards, of which the following stand out: Honorable Mention at the International Art Exhibition / Australia and Honorable Mention and 2nd Award at Salão dos Novíssimos - Luanda / Angola.
