Born in Alfenas, Minas Gerais, in 1946. In 1964 he entered the Guignard School of Fine Arts, Belo Horizonte. His training was complemented by trips to the United States (where he has held solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions) and, above all, to Mexico, where he interned at Lauro Lopez's studio, becoming an admirer of the art of pre-Columbian civilizations. Your work is already complete. It was exhibited in galleries and spaces in numerous Brazilian cities. In 1994, his work was presented for the first time in Portugal, as part of a group exhibition at Galeria de S. Bento.
