Fernando Grade

Born in Estoril in 1943. He is a painter, poet, fiction writer, cultural promoter, chronicler, art critic, journalist, lecturer and action actor and uses the pseudonym and sub-heteronym of Abel Sabaoth. He was one of the founders, in 1964, of the “Disintegrationist” and it is He is the creator of "Crowd Theory" and "Perverse Collages". He was Director of the SNBA of Lisbon, Director of the Portuguese Association of Writers and the Portuguese Association of Critics, and Councilor of the Municipal Council of Cascais. He directed the magazine "Costa Azul". He has several works of art criticism, published essentially in "Jornal de Letras e Artes", "O Século", "A República", "Século Ilustrado" and "Diário de Notí ;cias". The first book of poetry he published dates back to 1962 – Sangri – and since then he has published several books written by him or with his participation. In this context, he was awarded several literary prizes. Since 1965 he has held several individual and group exhibitions in Portugal and abroad.
