António Manuel Diogo Rosa was born in Abrantes (1954), but lives in Lisbon. In his academic career, highlights include a Degree in Equipment Design from ESBAL, a Degree in Architecture from FAUTL and a Master's in Environment Production Design from IADE/ESD. At the same time, he attended Photography, Screen Printing, Painting, Ceramics and Sculpture workshops. Professionally, he was a Teacher of Visual Education and of Art and Design in Secondary Education.

He has worked in Architecture and Design in several ateliers, participating in projects in different areas related to residential and commercial buildings, educational and religious equipment and the design of objects and spaces. He is currently developing activities in the artistic field with a special emphasis on Photography, Painting, Ceramic Sculpture and Stone Sculpture.

He divides his artistic activity between Lisbon, Tomar and the sculpture atelier in Odrinhas – Sintra. He has participated in individual and collective exhibitions, namely with the groups ”Escrita do Sudoeste”, “COR7” and with the “C.I.E. – International Sculpture Center”. He regularly participates in the exhibition “Sintra Arte Pública” at the invitation of the CIE. He is represented in some private collections.
