Armando Gomes' work is close to new figuration in that it keeps the space of his works abstract, that is, despite using figures, he places them on the two-dimensional plane of the support, dispensing with pretended depths.

The oneiric world is explored through images that oscillate between the imaginary and the real, where colour and simple lines are fundamental characteristics.
