Born in Lisbon in 1977, Alexandra Prieto graduated in Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon and took the Drawing Course at the National Society of Fine Arts.

She has exhibited since 1983 in several galleries and institutions throughout the country: Individual exhibition "A Prieto e a Cores" at Palácio Boullosa, Centro Galego, Lisbon (2007); Collective exhibition " A Mulher e o seu Mundo" at Centro Português de Serigrafia, Lisbon (2005); Collective exhibition " Arte no Feminino IX" at Auditório Municipal de Vendas Novas (2003); Collective Exhibition "Tout Tout Pour Ma cherie" at the Galeria M94 (2002); Collective Exhibition "Escultura na Praça 2000", FBAL, Câmara Municipal de Lisboa (2000); Collective Exhibition "T9" at the Galeria Zé dos Bois (2000), among others.

Using art and creativity in another sense, Alexandra Prieto created her own brand, an original concept where she associates her artistic style with an exclusive line of shoes of her own: ART ON SHOES ALEXANDRA PRIETO COLLECTION. This has representation in shops in different European cities such as Lisbon, Barcelona and Amsterdam.
